TFRW Awards Program
Recognizing the Work That Matters
Managed by Sandi M. Ellen, Immediate Past President
One of the most meaningful ways our club is recognized is through the TFRW Awards Program. These awards represent the countless volunteer hours, community involvement, campaign work, and dedication our members contribute to advancing the Republican cause and helping elect conservative candidates.
2026–2027 John Goodwin Tower Award
All TFRW clubs are currently working toward the 2026–2027 John Goodwin Tower Award, which recognizes achievement in overall club function, membership development, programs, campaign activities, and community engagement. Receiving this award takes commitment from our entire membership — and every member plays a role.

National Federation of Republican Women
USA 250 Membership Challenge
The National Federation of Republican Women announced the USA 250 Membership Challenge, honoring the enduring legacy of 1776 while empowering clubs to grow stronger, engage more deeply in their communities, and prepare the next generation of conservative women leaders. The challenge spans a two-year term and includes three progressive achievement levels — all three of which HCRW has achieved.

- National Federation of Republican Women

Hays County Republican Women are honored to be recognized in the Liberty Builders Brigade through the NFRW USA 250 Membership Challenge. This award celebrates clubs that are growing membership, building momentum, and carrying patriotic leadership into America's 250th anniversary year.
Signers Circle Honor — June 2026
In June 2026, the National Federation of Republican Women formally honored Hays County Republican Women as one of its newest Signers Circle clubs — a distinction that not every club achieves. This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire membership and the exceptional leadership of our Vice President of Membership, Cris Peterson, who drove our club to reach and exceed the membership goals set by this national challenge.
New This Year
Public Relations Award
TFRW has updated the previous newsletter award and introduced a new Public Relations Award, encompassing all aspects of public relations beyond a newsletter — including overall PR efforts, social media, and website presence. This is a brand-new award category for the 2026–2027 term — HCRW has not yet received it, but our club is actively working toward it.
Angela Streeter
VP, Public Relations
Vice President of Public Relations Angela Streeter is working toward this new recognition, growing HCRW's website and social media presence to build the kind of public relations program TFRW looks for in this award category.
